Our Process
We involve you every step of the way, getting your input on the design and implementation of each page, incorporating your change requests as we progress, making sure you are happy with the result. After you accept our proposal/quotation, the phases we go through are: Design, Preparation, Building, and then Deployment.
Design
This is the most important part, where we uncover all your requirements, lay out each page (with your input), and produce a Website Specification and a Statement of Work.
Preparation
We prepare the development environment, install plugins, and gather the content that has been decided on in the Planning phase. Content may have to be created or edited.
Building
The website is put together, with each page tweaked until you are happy. We test on various browsers and operating systems, making sure the website works for your target audience.
Deployment
We move the website to the live environment, your chosen host, and train your staff if necessary. You can now invite the world to come look!
About Us
Shaun
Web Cat was established by Shaun Fautley, who has a background in product management, software development, photography, copywriting, electronics, and more. His many years of experience with the nuts and bolts of computers and software development means that customers are in good hands. When time allows, he creates photos that will knock your socks off.
Saul
A man with 16 years of website development experience to his name, Saul is a PHP and JavaScript whizz. He believes in planning, and doing a job well. In his free time you’ll find him battling other heroes in the world of Dota 2.
Sven
Sven assists with project management, marketing, and sales, using his broad technical knowledge and his experience in corporates, the food industry, and non-profits. Jovial and sharp-witted, he keeps us laughing and thinking. If you see a flamboyantly dressed cyclist on the road, it’s probably Sven.
